Mac OS X: Apple Software Update

  1. Open the Apple Menu
  2. Click on System Settings
  3. Click on General, then Software Update
  4. Make sure "Automatically keep my Mac up to date" is checked
  5. then click the Info "I" icon and make sure Install MacOS Updates is selected
  6. Choose the Software Update button - this will start the update process if any updates are needed
