Preparation Steps for Your Device

Required
  1. Chromebook devices: Upgrade the Chrome OS desktop by going to Settings, About Chrome, Check for Updates, To apply the update click the arrow icon and select Restart to Update
  2. Chromebook devices: Make sure your device is receiving automatic updates here. If not, you cannot use it on the Thomas College network for security reasons.
  3. See which devices are banned or problematic on our network.
Recommended
  1. Setup Wi-Fi: For the security key for the TCGeneral network contact the Service Desk.
  2. Connect with the Thomas College Library & Service Desk on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  3. Use Microsoft Office Web Apps, since Chromebooks are unable download desktop apps
